It was officially the first day of winter break. Usually after semesters, I get rid of all the papers and work I no longer need. I had a free day, and thought now would be a good a time as ever, so I cleaned out the top part of my closet, I wish I'd gotten a before picture, but anyway, my room was a mess for a good 4 hours.
Going through all my stuff, I found the music we used in our marching show senior year.
It made me nostalgic, I miss performing.
And I also found these old paper dolls. Anyone remember paper dolls??
My mom got these for me in a town called Cloudcroft. It has this one store that sells a bunch of vintage stuff. I'm going to give all my other paper dolls I have away, but when I looked at these, I just couldn't bring myself to give them away. For one, I love the clothes and I don't think a little kid would really know how to appreciate them.
I have a lot of books, most that I've never read because they don't really seem all that interesting, so I pulled out all the ones I've never read and I've decided I'm gonna donate them to the library, if they'll take them, a lot of them are in really good condition.
So here's the final product of the top of my closet (this was the part I was cleaning out and re-organizing)

and after sorting through all the stuff I pulled out, I managed to get my room back to as normal a state as possible for a 20 year old

I hate when I find my sheet music from when I was in band. It makes me sad cause I miss it so much. I get a one week vacation a year. I just work, I dont goto school, and I usually take it in the summer, so the first day and everyday after I goto the beach and spend as much time outside as i can. and sleep. I nap like a cat when Im on vacation and its wonderful.
